What is a Zimis? The name Zimis comes from the phonetic spelling of the word Tzimmes, which means a “loud occasion”, similar to a ruckus or hullabaloo.

Zimis, the band, is a blend of many different musical styles and influences that form a unique blend of rock and funk with a little bit of soul for good measure. Formed out of the ashes of Arizona's very own Claire's Trick, Zimis has been performing all over the valley for the past two years to some of the best audiences Arizona has to offer.
